As the state moves into the next phase of its efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, essential industries are encouraged to continue operations while implementing best practices designed to protect employees, customers and the general public.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Agriculture and food-related businesses remain\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cisa.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/publications\/CISA_Guidance_on_the_Essential_Critical_Infrastructure_Workforce_Version_2.0_Updated.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.cisa.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/publications\/CISA_Guidance_on_the_Essential_Critical_Infrastructure_Workforce_Version_2.0_Updated.pdf&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1585686383446000&amp;usg=AFQjCNE3O5HFAxi7bAkAwZcrLPFfNP-f7w\">essential<\/a>, however individual companies are asked to make an honest assessment as to whether their operation is essential to public health and safety.\u00a0Businesses that are not directly linked to public health and safety should immediately scale back their operations,\u00a0eliminate foot traffic, end curbside pick-up and move to delivery only. Any workers that are able to do their job from home should do so immediately and continue until the governor lifts the current order.<\/p>\n<p>Essential workers may continue to travel to and from work as needed. It is recommended that employers draft and print letters for employees to carry when travelling.
