ANNAPOLIS, MD <\/strong>\u2013 The Governor\u2019s Intergovernmental Commission for Agriculture (GICA) will meet on\u00a0Tuesday, June 4 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. in the lower level conference room at the Maryland Department of Agriculture, 50 Harry S Truman Parkway, Annapolis.<\/p>\n

The Governor\u2019s Intergovernmental Commission for Agriculture was established in 2006 to \u201cpromote the economic profitability of agriculture in the state by ensuring that all appropriate state agencies work in a cooperative, coordinated manner with local government and industry groups in planning, implementing, overseeing, and evaluating intergovernmental initiatives related to agricultural affairs of the state.\u201d<\/p>\n
