The Maryland Agriculture Education Foundation (MAEF) in partnership with the Maryland Department of Agriculture\u2019s (MDA) Farm to School program is sponsoring a workshop designed to provide important information to farms that work with schools groups K-12 on Monday, Dec. 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at MDA, 50 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis.<\/p>\n
The workshop will feature an educational overview of standards-based teaching; information about working with school districts, environmental literacy, and Farm to School initiatives; and an update from the Mid-Atlantic Farm-Based Educator\u2019s Association. The workshop will also provide participants with information about product-specific resources available through Ag In The Classroom.<\/p>\n
