{"id":21063,"date":"2017-02-28T15:48:54","date_gmt":"2017-02-28T20:48:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/mda\/?p=21063"},"modified":"2017-03-29T15:15:33","modified_gmt":"2017-03-29T19:15:33","slug":"healthy-soils-workshops-scheduled-for-maryland-on-march-14-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/mda\/press-release\/2017\/02\/28\/healthy-soils-workshops-scheduled-for-maryland-on-march-14-15\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Healthy Soils\u2019 Workshops Scheduled for Maryland on March 14-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><em>Update: These events have been RESCHEDULED for April 21 &amp; 26 (<a href=\"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/mda\/press-release\/2017\/03\/29\/update-maryland-healthy-soils-workshops-rescheduled-for-april\/\">more info<\/a>)<\/em><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"center\"><strong>ANNAPOLIS, MD<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Adaptation and Response Work Group of the Maryland Commission on Climate Change will host regional \u201cHealthy Soils\u201d workshops: <strong>March 14<\/strong> at Hood College, Whitaker Campus Center, 401 Rosemont Ave., Frederick; and <strong>March 15<\/strong> at Chesapeake College, Eastern Shore Higher Education Center, Room HEC 110, 1000 College Circle, Wye Mills.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Besides focusing on healthy soil science and practices, the workshop will provide information on the guidelines and application process for a $100,000 Innovation Technology grant that will be awarded for projects\u00a0dealing with\u00a0the integration of nutrient reductions with climate change adaptation.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The events are free, but registration is requested.
