{"id":21007,"date":"2017-02-06T16:34:01","date_gmt":"2017-02-06T21:34:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/mda\/?p=21007"},"modified":"2017-02-06T16:34:01","modified_gmt":"2017-02-06T21:34:01","slug":"training-dates-scheduled-for-2017-maryland-farmers-market-nutrition-programs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/mda\/press-release\/2017\/02\/06\/training-dates-scheduled-for-2017-maryland-farmers-market-nutrition-programs\/","title":{"rendered":"Training Dates Scheduled for 2017 Maryland Farmers Market Nutrition Programs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left\" align=\"center\"><strong>ANNAPOLIS, MD <\/strong>\u2013 The Maryland Department of Agriculture has announced 2017 training dates for the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP), Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP), and Fruit &amp; Vegetable Check (FVC) programs.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Any farmers or markets new to the Nutrition Programs must attend a training session in person to participate in the program this market season. Anyone who took training prior to 2015 is also required to attend a session or join a conference call to participate in these programs. Once completed, the training is valid for three years.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The two hour training sessions are free, but registration is required.
