The series puts a human face on Maryland agriculture by telling stories of the people, skills and technology required to sustain and grow the state\u2019s number one industry. Episode 409 will premiere <strong>Tuesday, January 10, at 7 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Joanne Clendining, who earned an Emmy\u00ae from the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter (NCCBC) of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for her work as\u00a0<em>Maryland Farm &amp; Harvest<\/em>\u00a0host, returns for season four.\u00a0 Joining Joanne is Contributing Editor Al Spoler, who serves up the\u00a0<em>Local Buy<\/em>\u00a0segment during each episode.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Featured on this week\u2019s episode<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pine Grove Farms in Caroline County.<\/strong> Farmer Bill Caulk, who raises produce, donates his long hair to Locks of Love at the Baltimore Farmer\u2019s Market.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Stone-Valley-Farm-758911957515355\/\"><strong>Stone Valley Farm<\/strong><\/a><strong> in Carroll County. <\/strong>Viewers meet Colin O\u2019Meara, who doesn\u2019t come from a farming background but has still managed to break into the business.\u00a0 O\u2019Meara shares how he has overcome challenges to grow his grain and cattle farm in Westminster.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rilllambs.com\/\"><strong>Rill Family Club Lambs<\/strong><\/a><strong> in Carroll County. <\/strong>Brad Rill shows what it takes to produce a Maryland State Fair award-winning show lamb.<\/li>\n<li>During the <em>Buy Local <\/em>segment, host Al Spoler visits <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kingsorganicfruit.com\/\"><strong>King\u2019s Organic Fruit<\/strong><\/a><strong> in Caroline County, <\/strong>where he talks to Jack King\u2014a former dairy farmer turned organic berry farmer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>The series airs on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. on MPT-HD<\/strong> and is rebroadcast on Thursdays at 11:30 p.m. and Sundays at 6 a.m. Each show also airs on MPT2 on Fridays at 7 p.m.\u00a0 For more information visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mpt.org\/farm\">mpt.org\/farm<\/a><em>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The Maryland Department of Agriculture is MPT\u2019s co-production partner for <em>Maryland Farm &amp; Harvest<\/em>.
