The results are expected to show a significant increase since 2010, particularly in terms of economic activity, jobs and revenue provided to state and local governments.<\/p>\n<div>\n<p align=\"left\">Maryland&#8217;s horse industry dates back to colonial days. Currently, there are 35 equestrian disciplines in Maryland, representing more than 40 different breeds of horses and ponies. The racing and non-racing segments of the horse community are interconnected and dependent upon one another to maintain a vibrant industry.<br \/>\n__________________________________<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p align=\"left\"><strong>WHAT:\u00a0<\/strong>Maryland Horse Industry Board will host an event to announce the results of a recent economic impact survey conducted by the Sage Policy Group.
