The Commission serves as an advisory body to the Secretary of Agriculture which represents all major commodities in the state.\u00a0 As a group, Commission members address legislative and policy issues that affect Maryland agribusiness.<\/p>\n<p>The open positions represent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agri-Tourism<\/li>\n<li>At Large \/ Ag. Services (Two vacancies)<\/li>\n<li>Dairy<\/li>\n<li>Forestry<\/li>\n<li>Livestock<\/li>\n<li>Poultry<\/li>\n<li>Tobacco<\/li>\n<li>Viticulture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For consideration, applicants must be Maryland residents and have experience in the field they are representing.\u00a0 Appointments are made by Governor Larry Hogan, and each member is eligible to serve two three-year terms at the Governor\u2019s discretion.
