{"id":17524,"date":"2015-08-26T16:14:54","date_gmt":"2015-08-26T20:14:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/mda\/?p=17524"},"modified":"2015-08-26T16:15:36","modified_gmt":"2015-08-26T20:15:36","slug":"public-notice-mda-to-increase-mosquito-control-activities-in-baltimore-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/mda\/press-release\/2015\/08\/26\/public-notice-mda-to-increase-mosquito-control-activities-in-baltimore-county\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Notice: MDA to Increase Mosquito Control Activities in Baltimore County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ANNAPOLIS, MD<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 The Maryland Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with Baltimore County, will expand mosquito control services in Baltimore County due to evidence of West Nile virus in the area. \u00a0Mosquito Control ULV spraying will occur on Thursday, Aug. 27, and again on Thurs., Sept. 3, in the following communities, weather permitting:\u00a0 Brookfield, Eagles Nest,\u00a0 Loveton Farms, Meredith Ridge, Misty Hollow, Montrose, Ramsgate, Summer Hill and Windy Hills Farm.<\/p>\n<p>See a <a href=\"http:\/\/mda.maryland.gov\/plants-pests\/Documents\/BaltCounty_WNVSprayZone.pdf\">map of the spray area<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Spraying will begin at or after 7:30 p.m. Any existing spray exemptions in the area will be temporarily suspended. People should avoid outdoor activities on spray nights.
