Maryland Agricultural Commission Spring Tour Scheduled for May 10

ANNAPOLIS, MD (May 3, 2023) – The Maryland Agricultural Commission has announced it will hold its spring tour in Dorchester and Wicomico County on Wednesday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m. The agenda for the tour is as follows:

9:30 a.m. | Tour Baywater Trading Company Facility (Salisbury, MD) 

10:55 a.m. | Tour Wrights Market (Mardela Springs, MD) 

1:40 pm  | Tour Luthy Farm (Cambridge, MD)  

2:50 p.m. | Tour Blue Oyster Environmental (Cambridge, MD) 

Following the tour there will be a public meeting at Layton’s Chance in Vienna, MD with Maryland Agricultural Commission members, Maryland Department of Agriculture Secretary Kevin Atticks, department senior staff, local agricultural and community leaders, and government officials to discuss the Maryland agricultural industry. This meeting runs from 6-7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
