Meeting Notice: Maryland Horse Industry Board to Meet on August 14

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Horse Industry Board will meet on Wednesday, August 14 at 10 a.m. at the Glendale Riding School, 30485 Matthewstown Road, Easton. The meeting will be held inside the farm owners home.From 10 to 10:30 a.m., attendees will be able to meet with members of the Blue Crabs mounted games team from the Tidewater Pony Club. The Blue Crabs team represented the Delmarva Region at the 2019 Invitational Prince Philip Cup Mounted Games competition at the Land Rover Kentucky 3-Day event in April and finished third. The Horse Board awarded a grant to the team to help cover their traveling expenses as part of its 2019 grants program.

Agenda items for the meeting include current information and discussion concerning Horse Board initiatives, updates from board members, and reports from stable inspectors.
