Public Notice: MDA to Increase Mosquito Control Activities in Baltimore County
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with Baltimore County, will expand mosquito control services in Baltimore due to evidence of West Nile virus in the area.
Mosquito Control ULV spraying will occur on Sunday, Sept. 20, and the following Sunday, Sept. 27, weather permitting, beginning at or after 7:30 p.m. in the following communities: Berkshire, Charlesmont, Dundalk Mobile Home Court, East Field/Dundalk Farms, East Point, Graceland Park, Gray Haven, Gray Manor, Holabird, Lakes At Stansbury Shore, North Dunlogan, North Shire, Norwood, Stansbury/Stanbrook, and Vista Mobile. Mosquito Control ULV spraying will occur on Tuesday, Sept. 22, and the following Tuesday, Sept. 29, weather permitting, in the following communities: South Dunlogan, Waters Edge. Mosquito Control ULV spraying will occur on Thursday, Sept. 24, and the following Thursday, Oct. 1, weather permitting, in the following communities: Inverness, North Point Village, Oakleigh Village, Sandy Plains. Any existing spray exemptions in the area will be temporarily suspended. People should avoid outdoor activities on spray nights.
