Meeting Notice: Maryland Agricultural Commission Scheduled to Meet on May 13

ANNAPOLIS, MD –  The Maryland Agricultural Commission will meet from 9:00 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, May 13, at the Maryland Department of Agriculture, 50 Harry S Truman Parkway, Annapolis. The agenda includes a presentation for the Maryland Young Farmers Advisory Board on the recent Maryland Young Farmer Survey.  Following the Young Farmer presentation, Ernie Shea of Solutions from the Land will give a presentation on Animal Manure Management in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

The Commission serves as an advisory body to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Agriculture. Its members are appointed by the Governor and represent major commodity groups across Maryland.
