Meeting Notice: Maryland Invasive Plant Advisory Committee to Meet May 13

ANNAPOLIS, MD –  The Maryland Invasive Plant Advisory Committee (IPAC) will meet Tuesday, May 13, from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Maryland Department of Agriculture, 50 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis. The committee will review results of the Mid-Atlantic Nursery and Landscape Association member survey on timing and cost of woody plant production, potential Tier 1-2 species, regulatory language for proper disposal of Tier 1 plants and obtaining Secretary’s approval for prohibited activities, and other regulations that are being developed in accordance with the Invasive Plant Law passed by the Maryland legislature in 2011.
