Meeting Notice: Maryland Horse Industry Board to Meet Sept. 11

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Horse Industry Board (MHIB), a program within the Maryland Department of Agriculture, will meet Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. in the William Woodward Gallery, Collection of English Sporting Art, at the Baltimore Museum of Art, 10 Art Museum Drive, Baltimore. The meeting agenda includes updates of current MHIB initiatives, and reports from Board representatives and stable inspector. Following the meeting, the Board will tour the 52 paintings depicting horses and racing scenes, considered one of the finest collections of British sporting art in America. The room also houses the historic Woodlawn Vase, which is annually presented to the winner of the Preakness Stakes.
