MEDIA ADVISORY: Agriculture Secretary to Visit Farmers’ Markets this Week in Annapolis, Baltimore

ANNAPOLIS, MD  – Agriculture Secretary Buddy Hance will visit two Maryland farmers’ markets this week – one in Annapolis and one in Baltimore – to present proclamations from Governor Martin O’Malley, designating Aug. 5-11 as Farmers’ Market Week in Maryland. Secretary Hance will meet with market managers, farmers, vendors and customers while encouraging all Marylanders to visit farmers’ market and buy local products whenever possible.
