MDA to Host 2013 Farmers’ Market Conference on Feb. 28
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) will host the 7th annual Maryland Farmers’ Market Conference on Thursday, February 28 at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center to help enhance educational opportunities for farmers’ market stakeholders. Topics range from the basics of starting a new market through growing markets to the next level, plus tips and training for farmers and vendors. The conference is an opportunity for participants to network and connect with experts on farmers’ market issues in Maryland and nationally and for market managers to meet prospective farmers and vendors.
