Meeting Notice:Pesticide Advisory Committee to Meet Jan. 23

The Maryland Department of Agriculture’s Pesticide Advisory Committee will meet Wednesday, Jan. 23. From 10 a.m. to noon in the first floor conference room at MDA, 50 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis. The agenda will include an overview of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region III’s pesticide regulatory program activities and initiatives.

The Pesticide Advisory Committee reviews current pesticide management and advises the Secretary of Agriculture of actions necessary to produce healthy agricultural products and to protect structures, while ensuring the health of citizens and protection of natural resources.
