Meeting Notice: Maryland Horse Industry Board to Meet Jan. 18

The Maryland Horse Industry Board (MHIB), a program within the Maryland Department of Agriculture, will meet Friday, Jan. 18, at noon in the Administration Building at the Maryland State Fair Grounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium. The meeting agenda includes reports concerning the 2013 grants recipients and other current MHIB initiatives as well as updates from board representatives and stable inspectors. The MHIB Health Advisory Committee will meet at 2 p.m., immediately after the MHIB board meeting. The meeting is being held in conjunction with the Horse World Expo, where MHIB is an exhibitor.
