MEETING NOTICE: Maryland Young Farmers Advisory Board to Meet Jan. 16

he Maryland Young Farmers Advisory Board will meet on Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 11:30 a.m. at the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA), 50 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis. The agenda will include a presentation about the Maryland Agricultural Land Preservation Foundation (MALPF) by Executive Director Carol West. MALPF was established by the Maryland General Assembly in 1977 and is part of MDA. The Foundation purchases agricultural preservation easements that forever restrict development on prime farmland and woodland.
