Maryland Businesses Interested in Exporting Products Invited to Informational Seminar
Businesses interested in exporting their products to increase sales and expand their customer base are invited to attend an informational seminar from 8 a.m. to noon on Thursday, Nov. 15, at the World Trade Center, 401 East Pratt Street in Baltimore. The seminar is hosted by the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) and the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA). There is no fee to attend the seminar, but registration is required. Selling in overseas markets is a lucrative activity for many U.S. companies, and most are small or medium-sized businesses. The seminar is designed to provide important information about exporting for Maryland organizations engaged, or interested in engaging, in foreign trade and competing in the global marketplace. Information about SUSTA programs and available federal funding will be discussed. The seminar will feature experts from SUSTA, MDA, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Office of International Trade, World Trade Institute and the U.S. Export Assistance Center
