Meeting Notice: GICA to Meet October 9

The Governor’s Intergovernmental Commission for Agriculture will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, at the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA), 50 Harry S. Truman Parkway, Annapolis. The agenda will include a review and briefing from MDA and the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene about federal and state food safety regulations, information about wineries and local zoning issues   Members will also continue their discussions about agricultural education and action items for 2013.
