PUBLIC NOTICE: MDA to Increase Mosquito Control Activities in Anne Arundel County

ANNAPOLIS, MD (September 5, 2012) – The Maryland Department of Agriculture, in cooperation with Anne Arundel County, will expand mosquito control services in Anne Arundel County due to evidence of evidence of West Nile virus in the area. The communities to be sprayed are in the Harundel- Marley area, in the vicinity of Richie Highway between MD Route 100 and Roesler Avenue.  Spraying will occur on Tuesdays, Sept. 11 and Sept. 18, weather permitting. Spraying will begin at or after 7:30 p.m. People should avoid outdoors activities on spray nights.
