Maryland Agricultural Commission Monthly Meeting Slated for Nov. 10

ANNAPOLIS, MD (Nov. 1, 2010) – The Maryland Agricultural Commission will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 8:30 a.m. at the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) headquarters at 50 Harry S. Truman Pkwy., Annapolis.

The agenda will include: an update on the potential impact of the brown marmorated stink bug on agriculture; total maximum daily load (TMDL) and Maryland’s watershed implementation plan (WIP); legislative update; Governor’s Intergovernmental Commission on Agriculture tool kit; and strategic plan for agriculture.
