MEETING NOTICE: Pesticide Advisory Committee to Meet on December 2, 2009

ANNAPOLIS, MD (November 19, 2009) –  The Pesticide Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting on December 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Maryland Department of Agriculture Headquarters building in Annapolis.  Agenda items include:  TruGreen Lawn Care – Stewardship Programs and Regulatory Issues; TruGreen Landcare – Stewardship Programs and Regulatory Issues; Pesticide Regulation Program Update; and input from the general public.

The Pesticide Advisory Committee is made up of 15 members that review current pesticide management and advise the Secretary of Agriculture of actions necessary to produce healthy agricultural products and to protect structures, while ensuring the health of citizens and protection of natural resources.
