Ag Week At FSK Mall

To celebrate Ag Week, booths and demonstrations will be on display to show Frederick County’s agricultural heritage and to allow the public to experience the agriculture industry first-hand.

Agriculture is a vital part of the mid-Maryland region and to highlight it in our everyday lives, there is an event taking place every night this week at the FSK mall in Frederick.

To celebrate Ag Week, booths and demonstrations will be on display to show Frederick County’s agricultural heritage and to allow the public to experience the agriculture industry first-hand.

Different events will be taking place this week in addition to the agricultural displays and organization exhibits. These events include:

– Ice-cream cranking contest at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday

– Frederick County Young Farmers exhibition at 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday

– Frederick County 4-H and FFA Skill-a-Thon awards at 7:45 p.m. Thursday

– Roy Porter Memorial Log Sawing contest and giant ice cream sundae making at 7;30 p.m. Friday

– Frederick County Sheep Breeders demonstrations from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday

– 4-H entomology project displays from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday

– Scales N Tales demonstrations at 6 p.m. Saturday

– Pedal Tractor pull at 7:30 p.m. Saturday
