MEETING NOTICE: Maryland Pesticide Reporting and Information Work Group to Meet Nov. 14

ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Pesticide Reporting and Information Workgroup will meet on Thursday, November 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Environmental Matters Committee Room in the House Office Building (6 Bladen Street) in Annapolis. The agenda will focus on a presentation by the National Agricultural Statistics Service and general discussion about pesticide use data.

The primary charge of the work group (created during the 2013 legislative session) is to identify any data gaps in pesticide use and reporting that need to be filled and how best to fill them. The work group’s recommendations are due back to the General Assembly by summer of 2014.
