Media Advisory: Maryland Horse Industry Board Kicks Off Speaker Series
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Horse Industry Board, a program within the Maryland Department of Agriculture, is kicking off the first installment in a Speaker Series on March 27 with a presentation by President & CEO of Dover Saddlery Stephen L. Day, one of the nation’s largest equine retailers. His presentation is entitled: “The Good News and the Bad News for the Equestrian Market in the Decade Ahead.” The MHIB works to promote Maryland’s horse industry in its many disciplines. The Speaker Series is designed to provide those in the industry with educational presentations as well as new ideas and perspectives on the industry from both inside Maryland and across the nation. Prior to his acquisition of EquiSearch, he was CEO of State Line Tack from 1991 until its acquisition by PetSmart, Inc.
