Acidified Foods Training Program to be Offered March 15-16
ANNAPOLIS, MD (March 7, 2012) – Interested in canning salsa, pickles and other foods for sale? Attend the special training program for small food processors “Understanding Acidified Foods Workshop” and learn the basics of food safety requirements and regulations to manufacture acidified foods in Maryland. The training will be held on March 15-16 at the Maryland Department of Agriculture in Annapolis, MD.
The workshop is designed to teach the basics of food safety requirements and regulation in the manufacture of acidified foods in Maryland. Whether you have a business that you wish to expand, or you are just in the planning stages, this workshop will be helpful to you. The workshop ends on the second day (March 16th) at noon.
