Maryland Horse Industry Board Meeting Notice

A meeting of the Maryland Horse Industry Board (MHIB) will be held at 10 A.M., Thursday, September 12, 2024, at “The Ruppert’s Roost Meeting Center,” Therapeutic and Recreational Riding Center (TRRC), 3750 Shady Lane, Glenwood, MD 21738. www.trrcmd.org. TRRC is has been owned/operated by Dr. Helen Tuel, and her husband, John Tuel, for over 40 years and is one of the oldest therapeutic riding centers in Maryland. It is also the site of the Plot Twist Farm lesson and boarding facility operated by MHIB board member, Jennifer Sulin. www.plottwisthorsefarm.com. The meeting will include current information and discussion concerning Horse Board initiatives, updates from board members, and reports from stable inspectors. A tour of the TRRC and Plot Twist Farm operations will follow the meeting. A detailed agenda, minutes from the August 15, 2024 board meeting as well as project updates and a financial summary will be sent out prior to the meeting.
