Winning Teams from 14 Maryland Counties to Compete at St. Mary’s College

ANNAPOLIS, MD – While most high school students are enjoying a well-deserved summer break after a long school year, nearly 100 of Maryland’s brightest teens will be competing at the 29th annual Maryland Envirothon on June 19-20 at St. Mary’s College. The Envirothon is a demanding two-day, natural resources competition for teens that are passionate about the outdoors and the environment. Student teams will compete in five areas of environmental studies: soils/land use, aquatic ecology, forestry, wildlife, and this year’s environmental issue: Agriculture and Environment: Knowledge & Technology to Feed the World.
