ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Maryland Department of Agriculture will host a wholesale local food trade show on Wednesday, January 23, at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. The purpose of this expo is to provide an opportunity for Maryland farmers, producers, and processors to connect with buyers.

Also attending will be distributors, economic development officials, extension agents, and county agricultural marketing officials. The event showcases a wide range of local products including: fruits and vegetables, meats (beef, chicken, turkey, etc.), seafood (aquaculture oysters), and specialty products (locally-made cheese, ice cream, soup, chocolate, coffee, flour, wine, and more).
