Meeting Notice: MD Horse Industry Board to Meet Aug. 9

ANNAPOLIS, MD (July 31, 2012) –  The Maryland Horse Industry Board (MHIB) will meet Thursday, August 9, at 4:30 p.m. in the clubhouse at the Casino at Ocean Downs, 10218 Racetrack Road, Berlin, MD 21811. The meeting agenda includes updates on board initiatives and regular updates from board representatives and stable inspections. After the meeting and during the races, the MHIB and MDA will present a Secretary’s Citation to Marylander John Wagner from Centreville who recently won his 5,000th race as a driver. In addition, members of the Delmarva Standardbred Pleasure Club will be exhibiting their horses between races.
