Deputy secretary tours Hagerstown prisons

TOWSON, MD – New Deputy Secretary of Operations J. Michael Zeigler toured three correctional facilities in Hagerstown on Friday, January 8, 2016. The visit is part of a statewide tour of institutions the deputy secretary will be making.

The Hagerstown area facilities were the first institutions visited by Deputy Secretary Zeigler.  The purpose of the statewide correctional tour is to assist the deputy secretary in seeing first-hand the operations of the Division of Correction.
