{"id":9838,"date":"2016-02-11T13:08:47","date_gmt":"2016-02-11T18:08:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/?p=9838"},"modified":"2017-04-14T15:45:07","modified_gmt":"2017-04-14T19:45:07","slug":"riparian-property-licensing-now-open-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/2016\/02\/11\/riparian-property-licensing-now-open-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Riparian Property Licensing Now Open"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong>Applications Due by May 31<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em><strong><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2013\/07\/waterfowl-hunting-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"men hunting on a boat \" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Riparian (waterfront) property owners, or those with landowner permission, can now submit their applications for offshore waterfowl blind and shoreline licenses.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr2.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Pages\/Licenses\/riparian.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">license<\/a> is to establish offshore stationary blinds or blind sites for hunting waterfowl, or to prevent other hunters from licensing the shoreline at a later date. Landowners may license their shoreline for either one year ($20) or three years ($60).<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must submit paperwork and fees by mail, or in person, by the close of business of May 31.
