The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dnr2.maryland.gov\/huntersguide\/Documents\/Goose_Hunt_Zones_Map.pdf\">Canada goose hunting zone map<\/a>\u00a0 (i.e. migrant and resident) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr2.maryland.gov\/huntersguide\/Documents\/MGB_Flier.pdf\">Migratory Game Bird Hunting Seasons flyer<\/a> are available online.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe conducted an extensive <a href=\"http:\/\/news.maryland.gov\/dnr\/2015\/08\/04\/marylands-proposed-late-waterfowl-hunting-seasons-open-to-comment\/\">public outreach effort<\/a>, including an online forum and public meeting, to collect comments on the proposed hunting seasons. We also consulted closely with members of the Wildlife Advisory Commission and Migratory Game Bird Advisory Committee,\u201d said DNR Waterfowl Project Leader, Larry Hindman.<\/p>\n<p>All migratory game bird hunters, including landowners who are license-exempt, must purchase the Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp\/HIP Permit.\u00a0 All waterfowl hunters 16 years of age or older must also possess the Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp (federal duck stamp), which must be signed in ink across the face. \u00a0Hunters buying the federal stamp online may use the purchase code or printed receipt to show proof of purchase for 45 days.\u00a0 Hunters will receive their stamp in the mail from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service within this time frame.<\/p>\n<p>Licenses, stamps and permits may be purchased online via\u00a0<u><a href=\"https:\/\/compass.dnr.maryland.gov\/dnrcompassportal\">COMPASS<\/a><\/u>, by phone at 1-855-855-3906, at a <u><a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/service\/center.asp\">DNR Service Center<\/a><\/u>\u00a0or at any one of the more than\u00a0<u><a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/service\/netag2.asp\">250 Sport License Agents<\/a><\/u>\u00a0across the State.
