Verizon is working on the problem, but it could take several days to fix.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->During the outage, citizens may use the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.doit.state.md.us\/phonebook\/\">Maryland state directory<\/a> to locate employee emails or email customerservice.dnr@maryland.gov with customer service questions. Media inquiries should be directed to Kristen Peterson at kristen.peterson@maryland.gov. The <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr2.maryland.gov\/Pages\/default.aspx\">DNR website<\/a> also provides a wealth of information on Maryland waters, parks, fishing, boating, wildlife, trees and more.<\/p>\n<p>Also due to the fire, the Annapolis Service Center on West Street has no computer network access, but has working telephones. This means the service center cannot process licensing and registration transactions. The Department is working on a temporary solution that may resolve the issue later today. In the meantime, please contact\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/service\/center.asp\" target=\"_blank\">another service center<\/a>\u00a0or a hunting\/fishing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/service\/netag2.asp\" target=\"_blank\">license agent<\/a>\u00a0in Maryland.<\/p>\n<p>The telephones at the Natural Resources Police command center at Sandy Point State Park are working.
