This regulated\u00a0hunt\u00a0is open for all legal waterfowl species in accordance with Maryland\u00a0hunting\u00a0regulations and is an important part of responsible wildlife management in the area.\u00a0<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hunt dates are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">November 22\u201328, 2025:\u00a0Deep Creek Lake only<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">November 24\u201326, 2025:\u00a0Broadford Lake only<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">December 16, 2025 \u2013 January 31, 2026:\u00a0Deep Creek Lake only<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hunters may apply for blind sites on both Deep Creek Lake and Broadford Lake. Applications can be found <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/1iswOqTpNdaBbeTNkE37CO4r-NRpriXNByz5GA1qNAkI\/edit?usp=drive_web&amp;ouid=102757605176105163449\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on the DNR website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and the deadline to apply is October 15, 2025.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Selected hunters will be notified after October 16, 2025, by the Deep Creek Lake Management Office. The system provides an easier-to-navigate interface and simplifies renewal.
