Maryland DNR photo.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Applications are being accepted for the Maryland Department of Natural Resources&#8217;\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/fisheries\/Pages\/mgmt-committees\/sfac-index.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sport Fisheries Advisory Commission<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which represent the interests of various recreational fisheries-related constituencies and stakeholders. Nine seats out of 17 total on the commission are currently available; membership is open to individuals from across the state.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The commissioners are appointed by the governor, and they advise the director of\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/fisheries\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Fishing and Boating Services<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">on all matters brought to the commission related to sport fisheries throughout the state.<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Meetings are currently held quarterly.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Applications are being accepted through May 23.
