La Unidad de Educaci\u00f3n y Divulgaci\u00f3n de Seguridad de la Polic\u00eda de Recursos Naturales de Maryland organiza su evento comunitario inaugural de seguridad n\u00e1utica en espa\u00f1ol desde las 8 de la ma\u00f1ana hasta el mediod\u00eda del domingo 5 de mayo en el Parque Estatal Sandy Point de Annapolis.<\/span><\/p>\n

El Departamento de Recursos Naturales de Maryland (DNR) ha ampliado en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os sus actividades de divulgaci\u00f3n dirigidas a la comunidad latina de Maryland a trav\u00e9s de sus programas Es Mi Parque y sus actos biling\u00fces anuales. Como novedad para 2024, el evento educativo de seguridad para navegantes hispanos del NRP tiene como objetivo educar a la comunidad hispanohablante sobre la importancia de la seguridad de los navegantes, el uso del chaleco salvavidas, los peligros del alcohol y mucho m\u00e1s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Personal de BoatUS, el Servicio de Parques de Maryland y Auxiliares de la Guarda Costera Americana estar\u00e1n presentes en varios puntos del parque durante todo el d\u00eda. Entre las exhibiciones y demostraciones habr\u00e1 un puesto de como colocar un chaleco salvavidas, un puesto de lanzamiento y recuperaci\u00f3n de embarcaciones, un puesto de inscripci\u00f3n en el curso de seguridad para navegantes en espa\u00f1ol y varias m\u00e1s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maryland es uno de los primeros estados del pa\u00eds en ofrecer recursos de seguridad para embarcaciones de recreo <\/span>available in Spanish online<\/span><\/a>. Esta informaci\u00f3n describe los elementos esenciales necesarios para la navegaci\u00f3n, como bocinas, bengalas, extinguidores, chalecos salvavidas y m\u00e1s.<\/span><\/p>\n

Maryland Natural Resources Police Host Spanish-Language Boating Safety Event May 5<\/b><\/p>\n

The Maryland Natural Resources Police Safety Education and Outreach Unit is hosting its inaugural Spanish-speaking community boating safety event from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, May 5, at Sandy Point State Park in Annapolis.<\/span><\/p>\n

Staffers from BoatUS, the Maryland Park Service, and the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will man multiple locations around the park throughout the day. Displays and demonstrations will include a life jacket fitting station, a boat launch and retrieval station, a Spanish speaking boater safety course sign-up station, and several others.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has expanded its outreach to Maryland\u2019s Latino community in recent years through its <\/span>Es Mi Parque<\/span><\/a> programs and annual bilingual events.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Maryland is among the first states in the nation to make its boating safety resources for recreational vessels <\/span>available in Spanish online<\/span><\/a>. This information outlines essential items needed while boating including horns, flares, fire extinguishers, life jackets, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n

New for 2024, NRP\u2019s Hispanic boater safety education event aims to educate the Spanish-speaking community on the importance of boater safety, life jacket use, the dangers of alcohol, and more.<\/span><\/p>\n
