Hunting hours are from one half-hour before sunrise to one half-hour after sunset. The bag limit is one turkey of either sex. <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cThe winter season provides a great opportunity for hunters to enjoy the outdoors during a time of year when hunting seasons are winding down,\u201d Maryland Department of Natural Resources <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Wildlife\/Pages\/default.aspx\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Wildlife and Heritage Service<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0Director Karina Stonesifer said. \u201cThe winter season offers hunters a unique opportunity to get one last hunt in before spring.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">During the winter turkey season, hunters may only use shotguns loaded with No. 4 shot or smaller, crossbows, vertical bows, or airguns that shoot arrows or bolts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Hunters are reminded that it is illegal to hunt turkeys with the aid of bait.
