This popular competition combining artistic skill with knowledge of Maryland\u2019s wildlife is open until November 3, 2022. <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each contestant may submit up to three entries with a fee structure of: $15 for one entry, $20 for two and $30 for three. Proceeds help fund game bird and waterfowl research and projects. DNR staff will judge the entries live at the <a href=\"https:\/\/waterfowlfestival.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Waterfowl Festival<\/a>\u00a0in Easton on November 12, at 2 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All entries must be original works, neither copied nor duplicated from any previously published paintings, drawings, prints or photographs. To enter, contestants must mail their designs with required fees and forms to be received by November 3.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>UPDATE: The 2023-2024 Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp will be distributed electronically in the form of a stamp-sized image of the winning artwork to hunters who purchase one. Beginning next year, DNR will no longer produce a physical stamp &#8212; hunters must possess the printed receipt showing proof of purchase of the Maryland Migratory Game Bird Stamp while hunting migratory game birds.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The design contest is open to state residents and nonresidents.
