The plan would expand the wildlands by about 80 acres and adjust the Wildlands boundary to create a public access passageway. Comments can be provided in person at a public meeting Oct. 28, or online or by mail by Nov. 27.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/forests\/Pages\/Pocomoke-River-Wildlands.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">proposal and survey<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> are posted on the department website and will be online through the deadline.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Maryland Forest Service will host a public meeting beginning at 3 p.m. Oct. 28 at <a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/publiclands\/pages\/eastern\/pocomokeriver.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pocomoke River State Park<\/a>, Shad Landing Area, 3461 Worcester Highway, Snow Hill. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The meeting will be held outside in the Manokin Pavilion, located northeast of the marina.
