Through this process, funding is available for projects that restore local waterways, increase communities&#8217; resilience to climate and storm impacts, strengthen local economies, develop the next generation of environmental stewards, and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">foster sustainable development and use of Maryland waterways with projects that benefit the general boating public.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The department\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/ccs\/Pages\/funding\/grantsgateway.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grants Gateway<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> provides a streamlined, single point of entry to several state and federal programs, maximizing the resources available to restore the Chesapeake Bay and help coastal communities.
