MacPhail Road #2<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Centreville%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Centreville<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, 120 Broadway Ave.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Cumberland%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cumberland<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; 13300 Winchester Road (open Tuesdays and Thursdays)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Essex%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Essex<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; 1338 Eastern Blvd. A (open Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Frederick%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Frederick<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; 1601A Bowmans Farm Road<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Salisbury%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Salisbury<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; 251 Tilghman Road #2<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Solomons%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Solomons<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0&#8211; 14175 Solomons Island Road S., <\/span><b>opens June 12<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">UPDATE: <a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Annapolis%20Service%20Center\">Annapolis Service Center<\/a> will open by appointment only starting <strong>June 29<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Additional locations and start dates will be posted on the department\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/License-Processing-During-COVID-19-Closure.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> as they become available.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Customers will be able to schedule appointments online at the link for each <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/service_centers.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">service center location<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> or by calling the center for assistance. <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Only customers with appointments will be allowed entry. Unless accompanying a customer who needs assistance, we request that additional family or friends wait outside.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Customers are required to wear face masks for entry, and should arrive 5 to 10 minutes early for their appointments to allow for security protocols to be followed. Staff at the entrances will conduct brief screenings, which may include a temperature check and survey questions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This reopening is following guidelines of<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/governor.maryland.gov\/recovery\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Maryland Strong: Roadmap to Recovery<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> which includes a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/governor.maryland.gov\/2020\/05\/13\/stage-one-governor-hogan-announces-gradual-reopenings-with-flexible-community-based-approach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Safer at Home public health advisory<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Marylanders, particularly older and more vulnerable Marylanders, are strongly advised to continue staying home as much as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The online <a href=\"https:\/\/compass.dnr.maryland.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">COMPASS portal<\/a> provides 24\/7 self service access to recreational licenses, permits, and stamps; off-road vehicle registrations; magazine subscriptions; and donation options in support of your favorite Maryland Department of Natural Resources programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Additionally, the department can process transactions by mail at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Annapolis%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Annapolis<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Bel%20Air%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bel Air<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Centreville%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Centreville<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Salisbury%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Salisbury<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Solomons%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Solomons<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/servicecenter.aspx?ServiceCenter=Frederick%20Service%20Center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Frederick<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> service centers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Governor Hogan has granted a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/licensing.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">grace period<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> for certain licenses, permits, registrations, and other authorizations that have expired or would otherwise be renewable during the state of emergency (since March 5, 2020).<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> The grace period will last 30 days after the termination of the state of emergency.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Safety Protocols Allow Access at Most Locations The Maryland Department of Natural Resources will begin offering appointments at select licensing and registration centers in a phased reopening of in-person services for customers.
