Putt, 2019-20 Migratory Game Bird Stamp Winner<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maryland Department of Natural Resources<\/a> invites artists to submit their original works for the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Pages\/Stamp-Design-Contests.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">46<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Annual Migratory Game Bird stamp design contest<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> by Nov. 1. The winning entry will appear on the 2020-2021 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Pages\/hunt_trap\/mgb_stamps.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Migratory Game Bird Stamp<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> hunters purchase to hunt migratory game birds in Maryland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">New this year, the contest will be held in conjunction with the 49<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">th<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Annual <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.waterfowlfestival.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Waterfowl Festival<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in Easton, Nov. 8-10. The Waterfowl Festival will hold a \u201cPeople\u2019s Choice Award,\u201d which will let festival-goers cast their vote for their favorite entry. The\u00a0department will officially judge the entries at noon on Nov. 10 to select the winner.\u00a0<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Each contestant may submit up to three entries for a fee of $15 for one entry, $20 for two entries, and $30 for three entries. Proceeds help fund game bird and waterfowl research and projects.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All entries must be original works, neither copied nor duplicated from any previously published paintings, drawings, prints, or photographs.
