On opening day, applicants will be entered into a lottery for a chance to select their sites.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maryland Department of Natural Resources<\/a> assigns a license for each blind site, a designated location in state waters where a hunter can anchor a boat to hunt waterfowl.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On <\/span><b>Aug. 6 from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> applications for licenses will begin being accepted at the various locations listed below. Anyone arriving after 8 a.m. will be ineligible.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The lottery will start at 8:30 a.m. Once selection is complete, applicants will have eight minutes to choose their blind sites, with a maximum of two sites per day. Selections will end at 4:30 p.m. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On Aug. 7, licensing will be held at the locations listed below from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Aug. 8 and thereafter, blind site licensing will be held at the locations listed below during normal business hours, unless otherwise noted.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Only resident hunters may participate. Applicants must present their driver\u2019s license or other photo identification to verify identity and residency, unless under the age of 16.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">All participants must present a 2018-2019 or 2019-2020 Maryland <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">resident<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> hunting license. Any landowner wishing to license their own property, or who has written permission of a landowner, are exempt from this requirement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Landowners who would like to license their property should bring a copy of the property information (available<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sdat.dat.maryland.gov\/RealProperty\/Pages\/default.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">online<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">) and a tax map or other legible map showing the exact location of the shoreline to be licensed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Preview maps of shoreline licensed by waterfront landowners will be available on the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Pages\/hunt_trap\/offshore_intro.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">department\u2019s website<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and at the dates and locations listed below. Past participants should note that several locations have changed from previous years:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Anne Arundel\/Prince George&#8217;s Counties<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Anne Arundel County: (Aug. 6) Broadneck High School, 1265 Green Holly Drive, Annapolis.
