Following requests from the department&#8217;s active and engaged stakeholders, comments will be accepted <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSfCmMwGjEFqfwUlTVudEF-rnBmFKakoqMDlxlo2tDmkz81XlQ\/viewform\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">online<\/a> through Aug. 19, a one-month extension.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-27776\"><\/span>Maryland Forest Service staff hosted a public meeting on June 18 to present the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/forests\/Pages\/Chesapeake-Forest-Hunting-Lease-Proposal.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">proposal<\/a> and begin the public input process.
