Regular Registration Ends April 22<\/em><\/p>\n

\"Logo<\/a>The\u00a0 2019 Maryland Land Conservation Conference <\/a>will be held May 16-17 at the Maritime Conference Center, 692 Maritime Boulevard, Linthicum. This annual event brings together land trusts, conservancies, local and state government agencies, heritage organizations, members of the agricultural community and other partners for a comprehensive discussion about the future of land conservation in our region.<\/p>\n

Day one of the conference, May 16, will cover themes relevant to the land conservancy community, exploring topics related to innovation in agriculture, frontiers in\u00a0 finance, and advanced topics in conservation. The symposium on May 17 is an opportunity for county representatives and administrators to gather and discuss how state conservation programs and land trusts can be a useful tool for advancing the quality of life and economic vitality goals for all Maryland counties and municipalities.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany of our land trust leaders and partners in conservation\u00a0 tell me that one of the most valuable things we do is host the Maryland Land Conservation Conference,” Maryland Environmental Trust<\/a> Executive Director Bill Leahy said. \u201cWhat they value most is the opportunity to connect with peers and colleagues, to celebrate successes, to build new relationships, and learn new and innovative ways to expand and grow within our organizations.\u201d<\/p>\n
