The input will be used to help revise the state\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Pages\/hunt_trap\/Comments\/Deer_Management_Plan\/How-to-Comment.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">deer management plan<\/a>\u00a0for the next 15 years, establishing\u00a0long-term goals, and identifying specific objectives and strategies for achieving them.<\/p>\n<p>Through <del>Feb. 28<\/del>\u00a0March 15, the public can provide comments <a href=\"https:\/\/dnr.maryland.gov\/wildlife\/Pages\/hunt_trap\/Comments\/Deer_Management_Plan\/How-to-Comment.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online<\/a>. The department is also accepting feedback by phone at 410-260-8540; by fax at 410-260-8596; or in writing to: Maryland Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife and Heritage Service, 580 Taylor Avenue, E-1, Annapolis, Maryland, 21401.<!--more-->\u201cWe look forward to hearing from all citizens interested in one of Maryland\u2019s most important wildlife species \u2013 the white-tailed deer,\u201d Wildlife and Heritage Service Director Paul Peditto said. \u201cPublic input is vital to crafting a well-rounded plan that includes all opinions about deer and how they should be managed.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A brief summary of the current status of white-tailed deer management will be presented at four public meetings:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px\"><strong>Western Region<\/strong><br \/>\nFeb. 6 at 7 p.m.<br \/>\nMountain Ridge High School<br \/>\n100 Dr. Nancy S.
